On Wednesday night, WAPA Executive Director Hugo Hodge, Jr. will provide an update on operational issues at the VI Water and Power Authority when he appears on Public Television’s “Face to Face” program.
Hodge will discuss the anticipated impact of introducing solar power to the electric grid in both island districts. On Monday, WAPA signed interconnection agreements with three companies to provide 18 megawatts of solar energy to the grid.
Additionally, Hodge will be joined by WAPA Chief Operating Officer Gregory L. Rhymer and WAPA Director of Transmission and Distribution Clinton T. Hedrington to provide viewers an update on electrical and water distributions operations at WAPA.
